I LOVE this. I’m ALLLLLLL for queer books! :) In the off chance you don’t know about this site, here you go! They have a sister site Queer Romance Ink that focuses on romance too, where you can browse by sexuality and pairing. It is owned by a queer married couple and one of them (Scott) writes Sci Fi. https://www.queerscifi.com/
Ok who is smarter than me and can make this into a booklist shopping cart on some small minority owned bookstore's website? I want them all (and am apparently lazy)!
I love this roundup!! Queer sci-fi that lets us feel the rage and the hope and everything in between has been a total lifeline for me. I've read 90% of your rec list and added the books I haven't read to the TBR list :)
Because I can't help myself on the topic of queer sci-fi...here are some recs if you'd like them:
Everything by Becky Chambers is SO GOOD. If A Long Way From a Small, Angry Planet isn't on your list yet, strong rec to add it. I also recently finished The Mars House by Natasha Pulley and immediately started a reread because I loved it so much (great audiobook too). In a very different vein, Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir is an unbelievable start to an unbelievable series full of badass characters where nobody is straight.
